D&D Today: Part 7

Day 163

My mind is at peace. I have come to terms with the death of Stalos. A hole still remains in my mind where I had felt his presence and I feel that it will be there for a long time to come.

I think back to two months ago, when we arrived back in the city with the news we had to tell, and of the news that waited for us. After speaking with Jarconi, proxy for Sir Kedrith and Wabkeh of the Temple of Sho-Lum, we were brought before the spiritual and military leaders of the city. There we were tasked with the liberation of Grumdorak Pass Keep and given the command of a full contingent of Guardians to get the job done. I look forward to working with them.

Another matter was brought to our attention. Six books, that had originally been until ted became so. They were to be ours on the successful completion of our mission, granted that we could translate them from the ancient language they are written in. What mysteries will they reveal?

Lastly, on a lighter, more recent note, we have arranged for a relief package of sorts for the besieged Grakheim Vale Keep. Being on the border while needed, is hard on anyone. Much needed supplies, and reinforcements are on their way there. It isn't much, but given their situation, any diversion is a godsend.

Ha! It wasn't a month this time!

Another period of time later and here I am again. Let's see. Dirge of Cerebus just came out so I'll be picking that up in the upcoming months. Also picked up a couple of sweet games: Civilization IV: Warlords Darwinia Now, I know Warlords is only an expansion, but it adds lots of cool features to the game, such as having Great Generals which can give experience to your armies, a Great Wall that actually appears on the map, even being able to play as the barbarians. Who doesn't want to loot and plunder... You'll pay for this Captain Planet! Darwinia though, that is an amazing game! You are an observer in a virtual theme park which is populated by these little guys called Darwins. A virus invades the system and it's up to you to help them take back their territory but protect them from harm while you do.
